So far, we found very little information about Kimpton. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>
We've added Kimpton to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Kimpton - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Kimpton, please Contact Us.
While we don't have the exact location of Kimpton , we believe that it would have been located within present day Cass County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Kimpton, you might consider that their post office opened in 1889.
Time Zone: The area where Kimpton was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Kimpton was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>
From that list, the Kimpton post office opened in 1889.
We also found Kimpton in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
