Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Grand Pass had an population of 64 people. This is a decrease of 3.03% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 20.75% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Grand Pass had a population of 66 people. This makes Grand Pass the county's 10th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 66 people, the population of Grand Pass increased 24.53% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 53 people).

We originally found mention of Grand Pass in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Grand Pass was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Grand Pass post office opened in 1831.

We also found Grand Pass in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
