While our initial information about Glenn came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Glenn in various books and other sources.

Glenn is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>
From that list:
The Glenn post office opened in 1901 and had closed by 1933.
