While we don't have a date for the founding of Ewing, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1894.

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Ewing had an population of 426 people. This is a decrease of 6.58% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 8.19% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Ewing had a population of 456 people. This makes Ewing the county's 5th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 456 people, the population of Ewing decreased 1.72% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 464 people).

We originally found mention of Ewing in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Ewing was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Ewing post office opened in 1894.

We also found Ewing on a map (with an unknown title) dated 1904.
