Welcome to Eads ...

So far, we found very little information about Eads. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Eads to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Eads - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Eads, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Eads , we believe that it would have been located within present day Sainte Genevieve County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Eads, you might consider that their post office opened in 1915.

Time Zone: The area where Eads was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Communities Also Named Eads ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 7 communities that are also named Eads - they are located in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Tennessee and Virginia.

Adding Eads to Our Gazetteer ...

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Eads was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Eads post office opened in 1915.
