Welcome to Dog Town ...

So far, we found very little information about Dog Town. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Dog Town to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Dog Town - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Dog Town, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Dog Town , we believe that it would have been located within present day Saint Francois County<2>.

Time Zone: The area where Dog Town was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Missouri communities named Dog Town: This one is located in Saint Francois County and the other is located in Butler County.

Beyond Missouri, there are 8 communities that are also named Dog Town - they are located in Alabama, California (2), Maine, Montana, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
