Welcome to Cane Creek ...

So far, we found very little information about Cane Creek. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Cane Creek to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Cane Creek , we believe that it would have been located within present day Butler County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Cane Creek, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1840.

Adding Cane Creek to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Cane Creek was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Cane Creek post office opened in 1840.

We also found Cane Creek in the book titled Table of U.S. Post Offices in the United States (Jan. 1851).
