While we don't have the exact location of Cane Creek , we believe that it would have been located within present day Butler County<2>.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Cane Creek was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Cane Creek post office opened in 1840.

We also found Cane Creek in the book titled Table of U.S. Post Offices in the United States (Jan. 1851).
