At the time of the 2010 Census, Brentwood had a population of 8,055 people. This makes Brentwood the county's 27th most populous community.

The population of Brentwood represents 0.13% of the population of Missouri (which has 5,988,927 people), making it the state's 95th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 8,055 people, the population of Brentwood increased 4.71% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 7,693 people).
