At the time of the 2010 Census, Little Canada had a population of 9,773 people. This makes Little Canada the county's 10th most populous community.

The population of Little Canada represents 0.18% of the population of Minnesota (which has 5,303,925 people), making it the state's 96th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 9,773 people, the population of Little Canada has remained roughly the same as the 2000 Census (with a count of 9,771 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Little Canada was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Little Canada post office opened in 1852.
