The community of Saint Paul is the Seat for Ramsey County. Saint Paul is also the capital of Minnesota.
Ramsey County was founded in 1849.
From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Ramsey had a population of 549,632 people. This is an increase of 8.06% since the last Census (which gave a population of 508,640 people in 2010).
At the time of the 2010 Census, Ramsey represented 9.59% of the total population of Minnesota.
