Welcome to Upton Works ...

So far, we found very little information about Upton Works. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Upton Works to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Upton Works - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Upton Works, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Upton Works , we believe that it would have been located within present day Saint Clair County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Upton Works, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1885.

Time Zone: The area where Upton Works was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Adding Upton Works to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Upton Works was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Upton Works post office opened in 1885.

We also found Upton Works on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Michigan (1911).
