Welcome to Hickey ...

So far, we found very little information about Hickey. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Hickey to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Hickey - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Hickey, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Hickey , we believe that it would have been located within present day Saint Clair County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Hickey, you might consider that their post office opened in 1895.

Time Zone: The area where Hickey was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 4 communities that are also named Hickey - they are located in Manitoba, Tennessee (2) and Texas.

Adding Hickey to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Hickey was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Hickey post office opened in 1895.

We also found Hickey on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Michigan (1911).
