Welcome to Fillmore ...

So far, we found very little information about Fillmore. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Fillmore to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Fillmore - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Fillmore, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Fillmore , we believe that it would have been located within present day Macomb County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Fillmore, you might consider that their post office opened in 1851.

Time Zone: The area where Fillmore was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Communities Also Named Fillmore ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Michigan communities named Fillmore: This one is located in Macomb County and the other is located in Allegan County.

Beyond Michigan, there are 27 communities that are also named Fillmore - they are located in California (2), Georgia, Illinois (2), Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky (3), Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania (2), Saskatchewan, Utah and Wisconsin.

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Fillmore was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>
