So far, we found very little information about Doyle. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>
We've added Doyle to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Doyle , we believe that it would have been located within present day Gratiot County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Doyle, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.
Time Zone: The area where Doyle was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time
Doyle would have been located in the (989) area code.

While we believe that this Doyle is located in Gratiot County, we know of another 2 Michigan communities named Doyle. Those communities are located in the following counties: Macomb and Mecosta County.
