How Far From Nequsset to ...
We spend a lot of time looking through Gazetteers that were published in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Many of the Gazetteers include the distance from a community such as Nequsset to various places of note, such as the White House.
With a nod to our favorite Gazetteers and using the location of where the historic<2> community of Nequsset once stood, the straight-line distance<3> beginning in Nequsset and extending to:
- Bath, which is the Seat of Sagadahoc County, lies just to the West Southwest.
- Augusta, which is the State Capital of Maine, lies 27 miles [43.5 km]<3> to the north (N). If you could walk a straight line from Nequsset to Augusta, with an average speed<4> of 2.2 miles [3.5 km] per hour, it would take just about two full days to make the trip.
