So far, we found very little information about Kelly. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Kelly would have been located within present day Wicomico County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Kelly, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1896.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Kelly is 40 feet [12 m] above sea level.<3>.

We originally found mention of Kelly in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Kelly was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

X2X - From that list, the Kelly post office opened in 1896.

We also found Kelly in the book titled North American Railroad Atlas - Northeast.
