From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for East New Market was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the East New Market post office opened in 1827.

We also found East New Market in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
