Welcome to North Prescott ...

So far, we found very little information about North Prescott. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added North Prescott to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of North Prescott , we believe that it would have been located within present day Hampshire County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of North Prescott, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1845. The community was inundated by the Quabbin Reservoir.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned North Prescott was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the North Prescott post office opened in 1845.

We also found North Prescott in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
