So far, we found very little information about Mattakeset. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Mattakeset to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Mattakeset - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Mattakeset, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Mattakeset , we believe that it would have been located within present day Barnstable County<2>.

Time Zone: The area where Mattakeset was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Massachusetts communities named Mattakeset: This one is located in Barnstable County and the other is located in Plymouth County.
