While our initial information about Russellville came from various goverment sources (GNIS), we also found mention of Russellville in various books and other sources.

Russellville is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

From that list:

The Russellville post office opened in 1828 and had closed by 1846.
