From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Andrew was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Andrew post office opened in 1901.

We also found Andrew on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Louisiana (1911).
