From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Browns Grove was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Browns Grove post office opened in 1893.

We also found Browns Grove on a map titled George#&160;F. Cram Map (1905).
