So far, we found very little information about Wilsonton. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Wilsonton , we believe that it would have been located within present day Labette County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Wilsonton, you might consider that their post office opened in 1887.

If Wilsonton still existed, it would have been in the (620) area code.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Wilsonton was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>
From that list, the Wilsonton post office opened in 1887.
We also found Wilsonton in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
