Welcome to Weltbote ...

So far, we found very little information about Weltbote. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Weltbote to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Weltbote - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Weltbote, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Weltbote , we believe that it would have been located within present day Washington County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Weltbote, you might consider that their post office opened in 1888.

Adding Weltbote to Our Gazetteer ...

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Weltbote was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Weltbote post office opened in 1888.
