Welcome to Trousdale ...

So far, we found very little information about Trousdale. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Trousdale to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Trousdale - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Trousdale, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Trousdale , we believe that it would have been located within present day Harvey County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Trousdale, you might consider that their post office opened in 1893.

Communities Also Named Trousdale ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Kansas communities named Trousdale: This one is located in Harvey County and the other is located in Edwards County.

Beyond Kansas, there are 4 communities that are also named Trousdale - they are located in Oklahoma and Tennessee (2).

Adding Trousdale to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Trousdale was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Trousdale post office opened in 1893.

We also found Trousdale on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Kansas (1911).
