So far, we found very little information about Trousdale. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Trousdale would have been located within present day Edwards County<2>.


The location of Trousdale has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3>


While we don't have a date for the founding of Trousdale, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1916.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Trousdale is 2,080 feet [634 m] above sea level.<4>.

Time Zone: The area where Trousdale was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

We originally found mention of Trousdale in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Trousdale was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Trousdale post office opened in 1916.
