So far, we found very little information about Sulphur Springs. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Sulphur Springs , we believe that it would have been located within present day Cloud County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Sulphur Springs, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1875.

Adding Sulphur Springs to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Sulphur Springs was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Sulphur Springs post office opened in 1875.

We also found Sulphur Springs in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
