So far, we found very little information about Shermansville. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Shermansville , we believe that it would have been located within present day Franklin County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Shermansville, you might consider that their post office opened in 1855.

From that list, the Shermansville post office opened in 1855.
