At the time of the 2010 Census, Offerle had a population of 199 people (or 6.55% of the total population of Edwards County). This makes Offerle the county's 3rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 199 people, the population of Offerle decreased 9.55% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 220 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Offerle was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Offerle post office opened in 1876.

We also found Offerle in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
