Welcome to Fort Aubrey ...

So far, we found very little information about Fort Aubrey. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Fort Aubrey , we believe that it would have been located within present day Hamilton County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Fort Aubrey, you might consider that their post office opened in 1866.

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Fort Aubrey was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Fort Aubrey post office opened in 1866.
