Welcome to Forsha ...

So far, we found very little information about Forsha. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Forsha to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Forsha - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Forsha, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Forsha , we believe that it would have been located within present day Reno County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Forsha, you might consider that their post office opened in 1896.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Forsha was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Forsha post office opened in 1896.

We also found Forsha on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Kansas (1911).
