The Atlas had details such as the population of the community (which appears to have come from the 1890 Census) and whether there was a post office and/or railroad service available. The Rand McNally Atlas shows that Ellsworth had a population of 1,620 people in 1895 with railroad service and no post office. In 2020, Ellsworth had a population of 2,935 people.
