So far, we found very little information about Brandley. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Brandley , we believe that it would have been located within present day Morton County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Brandley, you might consider that their post office opened in 1885.

Brandley would have been located in the (620) area code.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Kansas communities named Brandley: This one is located in Morton County and the other is located in Seward County.

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Brandley was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Brandley post office opened in 1885.
