Miscellaneous References and Mentions

While our initial information about Eames came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Eames in various books and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Eames. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Note: When we started collecting data about Eames, we were inconsistent about keeping track of where that data came from. As a result, this list of references and mentions is probably incomplete.

Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895)
Published by Rand McNally & Co.

A note taken from the Shipper's Guide for Eames:
Services available in 1895: had a Railroad Station, an Express Office, no Post Office mentioned

Eames is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

Both the GNIS and FIPS databases contain entries for Eames. See our Misc Page for Eames for more information.
