Welcome to Corwin (aka 'Corwin Station') ...

So far, we found very little information about Corwin. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Corwin would have been located within present day Tippecanoe County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Corwin, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1854.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Corwin is 730 feet [223 m] above sea level.<3>.

Time Zone: The area where Corwin was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Note: If you travel west from Corwin (for example, toward Alvin (IL)), you will leave Eastern Time and cross into the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Corwin was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>
