Do you know of Ayr ???This page is an orphan - a placeholder until we can discover more about Ayr. Such is the case with Ayr.<1> Our sources for Ayr (see Mentions and References below) indicate that it was a community with a post office by the same name. Unfortunately our sources aren't clear about the location of Ayr other than they indicate that Ayr would be found somewhere in Marshall County, Indiana. From the Blevins / Hellbock List: The post office opened in 1896 and closed in 1903. Communities Also Named Ayr ...We found nine communities that share the name Ayr. Within Indiana, the name Ayr is unique. Beyond Indiana, we know of another eight communities that are located throughout in the United States and Canada. Of these eight communities, seven are located in the United States and one is in Canada. In addition to the above occurrences of Ayr, we know of another community located outside of the United States and Canada.
