From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Woodstock was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<9>

From that list, the Woodstock post office opened in 1852.

We also found Woodstock on a map (with an unknown title) dated 1870.
