Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Huntley had an population of 27,203 people. This is an increase of 11.99% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 374.75% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Huntley had a population of 24,291 people (or 7.87% of the total population of McHenry County). This makes Huntley the county's 6th most populous community.

The population of Huntley represents 0.19% of the total population of Illinois (which has 12,830,632 people), making it the state's 98th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 24,291 people, the population of Huntley increased 323.93% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 5,730 people).
