Miscellaneous References and Mentions

While our initial information about Naples came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Naples in various books and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Naples. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Note: When we started collecting data about Naples, we were inconsistent about keeping track of where that data came from. As a result, this list of references and mentions is probably incomplete.

Naples is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

Both the GNIS and FIPS databases contain entries for Naples. See our Misc Page for Naples for more information.

Railroad Mentions of Naples:

The following route mentioned Naples as a scheduled stop:

The Western Star: From Great Northern Railroad timetable for the defunct Western Star (train schedule from 1970). The Western Star travelled between Chicago (IL) and Seattle (WA)
