From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Moore was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Moore post office opened in 1902.

We also found Moore mentioned on a train schedule titled Union Pacific Railroad Time Tables (September 1924).
