At the time of the 2010 Census, McCall had a population of 2,991 people (or 30.56% of the total population of Valley County). This makes McCall the county's most populous community.

The population of McCall represents 0.19% of the total population of Idaho (which has 1,567,582 people), making it the state's 46th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 2,991 people, the population of McCall increased 43.52% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 2,084 people).
