The community of Cascade is the Seat for Valley County.
Valley County was founded in 1917. Valley was created by taking area from Boise and Idaho Counties.
From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Valley had a population of 11,443 people. This is an increase of 16.03% since the last Census (which gave a population of 9,862 people in 2010).
At the time of the 2010 Census, Valley represented 0.63% of the total population of Idaho.
