So far, we found very little information about Zwingle. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>
We've added Zwingle to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Zwingle , we believe that it would have been located within present day Jackson County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Zwingle, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1911.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Iowa communities named Zwingle: This one is located in Jackson County and the other is located in Dubuque County.
