At the time of the 2010 Census, Osterdock had a population of 59 people. This makes Osterdock the county's 15th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 59 people, the population of Osterdock increased 18% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 50 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Osterdock was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Osterdock post office opened in 1878.

We also found Osterdock in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
