Unfortunately, we didn't note our source when we found mention of Lonia, so we are uncertain whether Lonia is a community, a post office or a post office located in a community and having the same name.<2> While we don't have its location, we believe that Lonia would be found somewhere in Chickasaw County, Iowa.
