So far, we found very little information about Living Spring. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Living Spring , we believe that it would have been located within present day Pottawattamie County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Living Spring, you might consider that their post office opened in 1875.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Living Spring was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Living Spring post office opened in 1875.
