From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Ivester was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

X2X - From that list, the Ivester post office opened in 1893.

We also found Ivester on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Iowa (1911).
