So far, we found very little information about Hitesville. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Hitesville , we believe that it would have been located within present day Butler County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Hitesville, you might consider that their post office opened in 1879.

Time Zone: The area where Hitesville was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Hitesville was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Hitesville post office opened in 1879.

We also found Hitesville in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
