So far, we found very little information about High Lake. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of High Lake , we believe that it would have been located within present day Emmet County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of High Lake, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1870.
