So far, we found very little information about Goshen. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Goshen , we believe that it would have been located within present day Ringgold County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Goshen, you might consider that their post office opened in 1872.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Goshen was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Goshen post office opened in 1872.

We also found Goshen in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
